I had the pleasure of reading, what turns out to be a deep story, by a budding young girl-writer, Shenaya Zain, and seeing through her beautiful creative imaginations. The book is targeted to the minds of a teenagers and a younger audience. This is Shenaya’s second published novel. The first novel titled “Final Destiny” was published in 2018 by the Godage Publishers. Known for her versatile talents and skills, she study at The Girls High School Kandy, and excelled in many areas, including literature, music, drama, choir and sports, at the highest levels.

The story tells the paradox of the ongoing conflict between the human race and its ever-needed mother nature for their survival that they destroy themselves with petty-mindedness, wittingly or unwittingly.

The story goes on as a handsome skillful warrior tribe – depicting the human race (the council of the warriors) – who’s insensitive and callous, wonders about the forest, to which he has no attachment, except for traditional hunting and gathering that his tribe had been known for, traditionally. While wondering in the woods, he meets a young beautiful princess of the Mother-Nature-depicting the soul of the forest (the guardians and the protectors)

The underlying moral of the story is that the worst enemies can be friends one day if they open up their hearts to each other but without conceding power and will. There is no co-existence in nature for anyone without love, harmony and respect for one another. Humans are also a part of the mother nature itself.. Destiny can be changed drastically if you have the will to do so for the betterment of life of yours and others. Love, caring, and togetherness dictate the happiness, stability and replenishment of a family and their loved ones.
