About the Authors

Mrs. Nilmini Abeydeera who is a co-author of this book is a B.Sc. (Hons.) First-class graduate. She is presently serving in the department of Mathematics in National Institute of Education as the chief project officer in charge of Advanced level Mathematics. She passed her first degree at the University of Peradeniya and has passed the Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Colombo with a distinction pass. She has also passed the written examination for M. Phill at the University of Colombo. She has to her credit a successful career as an A/L Mathematics teacher in many leading schools in the island. She is also a marking examiner in evaluation of Mathematics answer scripts at G C E. Advanced level examination.

Mrs. Padmini Abeydeera, the other co-author of this book is a special trained teacher in Mathematics. She has served as a Mathematics teacher in several leading schools for more than 30 years. She has been an examiner in marking answer scripts at the GCE. Ordinary level examination and has served in the boards preparing Mathematics textbooks. She has a vast knowledge and experience in teaching Mathematics to her credit. She has also published Mathematics workbook for grade 3 and grade 11.
