Dr. Lalith Wickramanayake is presently working at the library of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka as a Senior Assistant Librarian. He obtained his B.A. Special Degree in 1995, M.L.S. in 2003 and Ph.D. in 2011 in Library and Information Science from the University of Kelaniya, University of Colombo and Wuhan University of China respectively. He is an academic librarian who has more than nineteen years of experience in the setting of academic library. He is a teacher, editor, reviewer and researcher, who has published and presented considerable research articles and papers in local and international journals and proceedings of symposiums and conferences. His present book “A Guide to Library and Information Skills” presents considerable information to those who eager to develop library and information skills which is timely most important for school students, university students, teachers, government and private sector employees and general public.
